MAHAPRAJAPATI GOTAMI ARRIVES HOME

She rode across South Dakota, into Wyoming, through Montana and Idaho in a car. Then carefully and gently under the watchful eye of Beverly Brecht, the artist, Mahaprajapati Gotami was placed in her new home at Gotami House. Here is how it unfolded.

Ven. Jampel and Kevin carry the art piece into Gotami House.

Kevin removes the trace paper template from the window opening.

Ven. Semkye carefully cleans the glass as Bev explains the many processes involved in making a stained glass window.

Bev holds the painting by Rigdol Oshoe that she used as her inspiration.

Careful to keep the glass piece vertical, Bev and Kevin get ready to lift the artwork.

Up she goes!

Ven. Jampel and Kevin position the window.

Gotami enjoys her new home.

Dawn light casts a watercolor reflection on the wall.
