GOTAMI HOUSE BEGINS

All the work, research, and meetings are bearing fruit as Gotami House is officially underway. With the excavation almost complete and the building corners staked, the concrete workers will begin building forms for the foundation shortly. Stay tuned as the monastic residence starts to take form.

John’s crew excavates for the foundation.

Our local utility company lays the new lines for the new retreat cabin. That construction is planned for early fall.

Decisions, decisions.  The Abbey monastic community looks over samples of rugs, flooring, and siding. The main criteria for all decisions at the Abbey is how best to use the offerings from our donors for products that are affordable and well made and, if at all possible, environmentally friendly
