She seems to feel safe close to Gotami House. ![]() Dharma friends Jon and Hana met while studying in India two years ago. Unbeknownst to each other they both chose to spend time at the Abbey. What a surprise when they reconnected here. ![]() One of the resident chipmunks checks out the old wood timbers removed from the fence. She is quite tame and visits us a lot. ![]() Neighbors Mike and Sally remove the old chain link fence. They will use it as a deer fence for their vegetable garden. We like to be able to help others and reuse materials too. ![]() Rolling up the heavy wire, Mike and friends will load it onto a flatbed and tractor. ![]() The proposed future site of Chenrezig Hall. ![]() The new well and its water meter are ready for back filling. Soon it will be connected to the electricity, and the waterline will connect to the main holding tanks up the hill. ![]() Jon is happy about the well!. ![]() The Abbey community celebrates Vesak with a beautiful puja and the reading of Nagarjuna’s Precious Garland.. ![]() Ven. Chonyi and Jon make lunch with lots of joy and enthusiasm, and the food tastes delicious.. ![]() Maitri is top cat at the Abbey. She may have a new kitten friend soon if all goes well. ![]() Ven.
