CHENRESIG RETREAT AND THE 108 VERSES TO GREAT COMPASSION Back to 2009 Gallery
With the remodeled kitchen and Gotami House, the Abbey is now able to host the popular week-long yearly retreat that previously was held at a retreat center. Twenty-eight retreatants lived in community for the week, receiving teachings, meditating, and discussing the Dharma together. It was an amazing group of people from around the country (and one retreatant from Singapore), who supported each other with many acts of kindness. This retreat will be an annual event at the Abbey, and Venerable Chodron will continue to teach the “108 Verses to Great Compassion” at the retreat next year.
